Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026 · Українська версія
This is an English translation of our Ukrainian Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If the two versions differ, the Ukrainian version prevails.
About
wow-forever.com.ua (the “site”) is the non-commercial website of the Ukrainian gaming community 3IRD (Third Iron Riflemen Division). It tells about the community and its guild ‹Third Division› in World of Warcraft: Forever and leads to our Discord server. For guild members the site runs the Member Cabinet (“Кабінет бійця”) — a closed area for running the guild that you sign in to with Discord and Battle.net. Together with the site we run the guild’s Discord bot — the application “Third Division” (application ID 1557905119008399431), which works only on our own Discord server. The site and the bot are run by the administration of the 3IRD community (“we”). These Terms and this Privacy Policy cover both the site and the bot.
Terms of Use
By opening and using the site or interacting with our bot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
What the site is
The public part of the site is informational: it sells no goods or services, has no forms or payments and needs no registration. Accounts exist only in the Member Cabinet — for guild members who choose to use it (see “Member Cabinet”). Information about games, release dates and editions comes from public sources and may change; the current terms are always published by the game’s rights holder.
Joining the community
Following a link to Discord does not automatically make you a member of the guild or community. The 3IRD administration decides on admission at its own discretion. Our Discord server has its own community rules, and Discord’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply there. The community is for adult players (18+).
The guild bot
The “Third Division” bot serves only our Discord server and only for running the guild: it manages guild rank roles, posts announcements, group finder and crafting posts, handles the buttons under them and sends personal notifications described in “The guild bot in Discord”. The bot does not send mass direct messages. Please do not try to misuse the bot, flood it with interactions or use it to harass other members.
Links to other sites
The site links to third-party resources: Discord, Battle.net, Twitch, Blizzard websites and 3ird-foxhole.com. We do not control these resources and are not responsible for their content, terms, privacy policies or actions. Purchases on Battle.net are made between you and Blizzard Entertainment on their terms.
What is not allowed
You may not try to disrupt the site or the bot, gain unauthorised access to them, their hosting or another member’s cabinet, overload them with automated requests, or use the site, the bot or their materials for unlawful purposes or to mislead others about belonging to 3IRD.
No warranty and limitation of liability
The site and the bot are provided “as is”, without any warranty of uninterrupted operation, completeness or accuracy. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect damage related to using the site or the bot, being unable to use them, or following links to third-party resources.
Changes
We may change the site, the bot and these Terms. A new version takes effect when it is published on this page; the date of the last update is shown at the top. We will announce significant changes to what data the Member Cabinet processes in the cabinet and on Discord, and if a new purpose of processing appears, we will ask for your consent again.
Member Cabinet
The Member Cabinet is a closed area of the site where the guild ‹Third Division› keeps its roster: mains, ranks, static raid teams, guild points, achievements and discipline. These rules apply together with the general Terms above.
Who can sign in
Only members of our Discord server who have the ‹Third Division› role, and only adults (18+). You sign in with your Discord account and your Battle.net account. We never see your passwords: sign-in happens on Discord’s and Blizzard’s own pages.
Participation is voluntary
The cabinet is an optional guild tool, not an obligation. It is used by those who joined the guild and want to take part in statics, the points ranking and achievements through the site. To sign in you need to read these Terms and the Privacy Policy and tick the consent box. You can leave the cabinet and delete your data at any time.
Your obligations
- Enter your real main character — an officer checks it in game. Other people’s names and made-up data are grounds for a warning.
- Do not share access to your cabinet with anyone and do not sign in to someone else’s.
Officers’ decisions
Ranks, guild points, static rosters, main verification and warnings are decided by the guild’s officers, each within their rank (see “Who sees your data”). This is internal record-keeping of a gaming community: it has no legal effect and gives no rights or rewards outside the game. If you disagree with a decision, contact an officer or the administration on Discord.
When access ends
If the ‹Third Division› role is removed (you left the guild or were removed), access to the cabinet ends. We may also restrict access for breaking these rules. What happens to your data after that is described in “How long we keep data”.
Privacy Policy
In short: the public pages of the site collect no personal data and set no cookies (some of them only remember your settings in your own browser — see “Cookies and browser storage”). Data is collected only by the Member Cabinet and the guild bot — only about guild members and members of our Discord server, and only for running the guild. We sell nothing, show no ads and do not share data with advertising networks.
Who is responsible for the data
The data controller is the administration of the 3IRD community. For any questions about your data, write to contact@wow-forever.com.ua or to the administration on our Discord.
Public pages: anonymous statistics
To understand how many people visit the site and which buttons work, we use the Umami analytics service (umami.is). It works without cookies and without browser fingerprinting for cross-site tracking. We only see aggregated statistics: number of visits, pages viewed, button clicks (for example, “go to Discord”), referring site, country, device type, operating system and browser. These statistics do not let us identify you and do not receive your Discord or Battle.net accounts or cabinet data. If your browser sends the “Do Not Track” signal, your visit is not counted.
Hosting
The site and the bot run on Cloudflare. Like any hosting, Cloudflare technically processes IP addresses and request data to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. We do not have access to this data in a form that would identify you and do not use it.
Third-party content
Some images and background videos load directly from Blizzard Entertainment’s servers. The “Our streamers” block checks whether a stream is live on Twitch through the public service decapi.me. During these requests your browser connects to those servers, which, like any web server, receive technical request data (including your IP address). We do not pass any data about you to them. When you follow links to Discord, Battle.net, Twitch or other sites, those services’ privacy policies apply.
Names in the “Guild Chronicle”
On the “Guild Chronicle” page we publish the in-game names and Discord names of winners and prize-winners of guild events. If you do not want your name there, write to us and we will remove it.
Member Cabinet and bot: what data we process
- From Discord, when you sign in: account ID, username, display name and avatar. We only request the
identifyscope, so we do not receive your email, your server list, friends or messages, and we never post on your behalf. - From our Discord server, through the guild bot: your server nickname and whether you have the guild role, an officer role and a rank role (“Guild — …”). The bot checks this at sign-in and then every hour to close access for those who left the guild and to pick up rank changes made by officers directly in Discord; the officer role is checked more often, every 10 minutes, so access to officer sections ends right after the role is removed.
- Activity tracking, through the guild bot (only if you agreed to this version of the rules): how much time per day you spent in the WoW voice channels chosen by the officers, and how many messages you posted in the log channels, plus shared dungeon runs from the guild add-on (which dungeon and when — an officer transfers them to the cabinet). The bot only checks whether you are in a channel (it does not listen to or record conversations) and counts messages — we do not store their text. Once a day these numbers turn into guild points according to rules set by the officers.
- From Battle.net: account ID and BattleTag (the
openidscope). We do not receive your password, email, payment data or list of games. - What you enter yourself: the name, class, race, sex and specialisation of your main and your role; if you lead or assist a static — its name, description, raid time and image; your Static Forge application (queue for a new static) and applications to existing statics — class, spec, role, days and raid times, pace, what you want to do in the game, a comment and whether to DM you the decision; talent builds and levelling routes if you saved them in the cabinet; groups you create in the Group Finder (dungeon, day and time, your role, comment) and your sign-ups to other groups (role); if you change your mentor — whom you chose and why; routes you shared with the guild in the planner — name, tip and steps; if you are a news editor — the drafts and articles you write and their images.
- Mentoring: who your mentor among the officers is, how they were assigned (automatically when you joined a static, or by your choice) and since when, and the history of mentor changes.
- Workshop (crafting orders): your crafting orders (item, quantity, reward, deadline, who provides materials and how much, the character to deliver to, comment), who took the order and when, delivered and confirmed it, the names of your other characters you entered for orders, the professions (yours and your alts’) with skill level you entered in your profile, your Workshop reputation and its history, tickets to the officers and decisions on them, and whether your access to the Workshop is closed. Buttons under Workshop posts in Discord send us your ID — the same as in the Group Finder.
- Armory: in the cabinet we show guild characters as Blizzard’s public API returns them: name, level, race, class, guild, equipped items and the character render. This is public game data Blizzard provides to any site; we keep the response briefly (a character for 15 minutes, the guild roster for 30) so as not to overload Blizzard. Only cabinet members can see it.
- Guild polls: if you answered a poll with a button (in a post on our server or in a message the bot sent you earlier) — your Discord ID, name and avatar, which answer you chose and when; for direct messages — also whether it was delivered. Answers (your Discord username, avatar and chosen answer) are visible to the guild command (rank Commander and above) — in the cabinet’s “Polls” tab and in a private channel on our server.
- Buttons under Group Finder posts in Discord: when you press such a button, Discord sends us your ID, name, server nickname and server roles — to check that you are in the guild. We store only the ID, name and your role in the group; pressing the button is your consent to this record. This lets you sign up even if you have never opened the cabinet.
- What officers keep: guild rank, static and role in it, main verification, guild points with their history (for what, when and who awarded them), achievements, warnings (reason, date, who issued them), decisions on applications and the officers’ comments on them.
- Technical: the session cookie (see below); the date of your consent and the version of the text you agreed to; your choice whether the bot may DM you (in general and separately for application decisions); the date of your last sign-in; a log of changes made by officers (who, what and when) — to keep records fair and to settle disputes; the same log records Battle.net linking and every time the administration views the cabinet “as” a member (see “Who sees your data”). We do not store IP addresses in the cabinet database.
We do not collect health data, political or religious views or other sensitive data, and we ask you not to put them in application comments.
Why
Only for running the guild ‹Third Division›:
- to check that you are a member of our Discord server with the guild role;
- to link a player to their character so officers can verify the main in game;
- to build statics and raid teams taking into account class, role, raid time, pace and what each player wants to do in the game: adding players to existing statics or assembling new ones from the Static Forge queue;
- to give every member from Private to Knight a mentor among the officers who explains how the guild works and helps with a group — evenly, so that nobody has many more mentees than others;
- to form dungeon groups: show who has signed up and for which role, and announce the group on Discord;
- to run the Workshop: publish crafting orders, give the crafter who took an order everything needed to complete it (including your Discord name and the character to deliver to), keep crafters’ reputation and settle disputes;
- to ask guild members about their plans (guild polls) and pass the answers to the officers;
- to publish guild news: show who wrote an article and notify the editors about drafts;
- to keep ranks, guild points, achievements and discipline;
- to see who is active in the WoW voice channels and log channels, to help officers decide on promotions.
We do not use this data for advertising or profiling and do not sell it. Only the following happens automatically: the ‹Third Division› role is checked for cabinet access, ranks are matched with Discord roles, points are awarded for activity and a mentor is assigned; decisions on ranks, statics and warnings are made by people — the guild’s officers.
The guild bot in Discord
- When an officer changes your rank in the cabinet, the bot sets the matching rank role on our server and removes the previous one.
- When you join the Static Forge or apply to a static, the bot forwards the application to a private officers’ channel: your name, BattleTag (if linked), class, spec, role, raid days and times, pace, what you want to do and your comment.
- When officers accept or decline an application, the bot DMs you the decision and the officers’ comment — only if you asked for it under the application. Otherwise an acceptance is announced in the honours channel with a mention of you, and a rejection is not announced publicly: you see it only in your cabinet. When officers assemble a new static from the Forge, the bot likewise DMs those who allowed it and mentions the rest in one announcement in the honours channel.
- If you leave a static, the bot tells the static leader in DMs (if the leader allowed the bot to DM them). If a leader or officer removes you from a static, the bot DMs you about it if you allowed it.
- If you are a news editor, the bot DMs the Guild Master that your article is waiting for approval, and DMs you when it is published or returned for edits. Published news is announced in the news channel.
- The bot posts Group Finder groups in the group-finder channel of our server: dungeon, time, comment, who is organising, who has signed up (as mentions) and with which class, and who is on the bench. The post is updated with every sign-up and closed when the group is cancelled or its time has passed.
- The bot posts Workshop orders in the crafting-orders channel of our server: item, quantity, reward, deadline, materials, the character to deliver to, comment, who ordered and who is crafting (as mentions) and their reputation level. The bot DMs the crafter who took an order all the details together with the requester’s Discord name, and DMs the requester who took the order and, later, what was delivered. The bot also DMs both sides about cancellations, tickets and the officers’ decisions; a new ticket is announced in the officers’ channel.
- Guild polls (for example, whether you plan to join at release) are posted by the bot in our server’s channels with answer buttons. When you press a button you get a reply only you can see; the bot records your answer and reports it to a private officers’ channel: who answered and what. Answering is optional.
- The bot does not send mass direct messages. It only DMs you about things that concern you personally (a decision on your application, your Workshop orders, your promotion or achievement) and, where stated, only if you allowed it. Once, on 2 November 2026, the bot sent a poll invitation by DM to members of our server with the WoW: Forever role; from now on such announcements go to server channels only.
- When you change your mentor yourself, the bot forwards whom you chose and why to the officers’ channel and DMs the new mentor (if they allowed the bot to DM them).
- Promotions are always announced by the bot in our server’s promotions channel: your name, the new rank and the officer who approved it.
- Every 10 minutes the bot checks whether you are in one of the WoW voice channels and reads new messages in the log channels to count time and messages (see “Activity tracking” above). Only officers see this.
- When you are promoted or receive an achievement, the bot DMs you about it — only if you allowed this in the cabinet; you can withdraw this permission at any time in the “My data” block. Without permission (or if your DMs are closed) the bot announces achievements in the honours channel with a mention of you.
The guild add-on in game
You install the ‹Third Division› add-on for WoW: Forever yourself; it works only for players of our guild. It exchanges data only with guildmates who also have it installed — through the guild channel inside the game: where your character is on the map (you can turn this off with the “Show me” checkbox on the add-on’s home page or in its minimap button menu), whether you are in a group or raid and who leads it, which dungeon or raid you are in, the add-on version, world PvP events (what, where and when, plus the name, class and level of the player on the other side if the game showed them), your summary for the guild rankings (level and class, world PvP wins and deaths, dungeons and raids completed, bosses defeated, when you reached level 60, PvP rank points and rank from the “Player vs. Player” window), your equipped gear (items, to show in the rankings), your professions and skill levels (for the Workshop), guild bank deposits from the bank log (who deposited what and when), shared dungeon runs (which guild members were in the group, which dungeon and when), in-game Group Finder groups and your guild event sign-ups. Only shared dungeon runs reach the site, and only when an officer pastes them into the cabinet (they become activity points); everything else stays in the game. The add-on downloaded from the cabinet contains a snapshot of what guildmates already see in the cabinet: main and alt character names, Discord display name, rank, guild achievements, professions and crafter reputation (no activity points); officers may pass a newer snapshot to guildmates in game. You can remove the add-on at any time; it then sends nothing.
Legal basis — your consent
The cabinet processes data only on the basis of your voluntary consent under the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”. You give it by ticking the box before your first sign-in; until then the cabinet receives none of your data from Discord or Battle.net. You can withdraw consent at any time — with the “Delete my data” button in the cabinet or by email. We will then delete your cabinet; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it. For players from the European Union the basis is the same — consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. When you press a button under a bot post on our server, Discord sends us the data needed to process that action, and pressing the button is your consent to recording it as described above.
Who sees your data
- You — your own cabinet, except guild points: those are kept and seen only by officers from the rank of Commander. You can download a full copy of your data, including points, with the “Download a copy” button in the cabinet, or get it on request.
- Guild officers — by rank. Knight-Captain and above — applications to their own static (the application and comment). Commander and above — the member roster and each member’s profile as the member sees it (main, talent build, route, static, achievements), the date of last sign-in and points history, as well as applications and Forge applications to all statics, activity tracking and answers to guild polls. Field Marshal and above — also warnings. Rights come from your current rank in Discord: when a rank is removed, access ends within 10 minutes. Officers do not disclose this data outside their circle.
- Your mentor — sees you in their list of mentees: name, avatar, rank, Discord name, static name, how you were assigned and since when. If you changed your mentor, the reason is seen by the new mentor and the officers in the officers’ channel.
- Members of your static — in the cabinet: your name, avatar, class, spec and role in the static, and who the leader and assistants are.
- All cabinet members — the static showcase: name, image, description and raid time of each static, its leader’s name and how many members it has; routes that players shared in the route planner — name, tip, steps, author’s name and avatar (you can remove your route at any time). All members also see how many people are in the Static Forge — only totals by role and time, without names. Other guild members do not see your applications, warnings or points history. Group Finder groups are visible to all cabinet members and members of our Discord server: who organises and who signed up, class, role and comment. In the Workshop all cabinet members see orders on the board, who ordered and who is crafting, their reputation level and points, and the crafters’ table with the professions and skill levels crafters entered in their profiles; the other side’s Discord name is visible only to the parties of the order, and tickets only to them and the officers.
- Administration (Guild Master) — can open the site “as” a certain role or a specific member to check what is available to whom. This is view-only: nothing can be changed on your behalf in this mode, and every such view is logged.
- Members of our Discord server — announcements of your promotions in the promotions channel, and congratulations on achievements and joining a static in the honours channel if you did not allow the bot to DM you.
- Publicly on the site — nothing from the cabinet except the “Guild Chronicle”, where we name event winners, and the author byline (Discord name) under news written by editors.
Who we share data with
Cabinet and bot data is stored on the infrastructure of Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), which hosts the site and the database. Cloudflare processes it only as a technical processor under its data processing agreement. Its servers may be located outside Ukraine, including in the EU and the USA; by giving consent you agree to such storage.
For us Blizzard Entertainment is only a sign-in service: we receive the data described above from it and send it nothing. The guild bot works through Discord: only what is described in “The guild bot in Discord” reaches our server (rank roles, promotion announcements, applications in the officers’ channel, congratulations, news announcements, group and crafting posts, poll answers in the officers’ channel). We do not share your data with anyone else, except where the law expressly requires it.
Cookies and browser storage
The public pages of the site do not use cookies. Cookies appear only when you sign in to the cabinet, and all of them are technical: they work only on our domain, are not accessible to page scripts and are sent only over a secure connection.
sid— the cabinet session, so you stay signed in. It disappears after you sign out or at the latest after 30 days.oas— a one-time sign-in marker for 15 minutes: it ties sign-in through Discord or Battle.net to your browser so nobody can slip you someone else’s sign-in link. It is erased right after sign-in.va— only for the administration (Guild Master) when viewing the site “as” another role; up to 4 hours.
A few pages also remember your settings in your own browser storage (localStorage) — this data is not sent anywhere: td-journey-v1 — your route in the levelling planner, td-dungeons-lv — the selected level on the “Dungeons” page, td-steps-hidden — that you hid the “First steps” card in the cabinet. You can erase it by clearing the site data in your browser.
Without these the site and cabinet would not work as you expect, so we do not ask for separate consent. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies: Umami analytics works without cookies (see above).
How long we keep data
- As long as you use the cabinet and are a member of the guild.
- Battle.net data is kept no longer than 30 days after the last confirmation, as Blizzard requires: then we erase it until you confirm the account again with one click in the cabinet. If you unlink Battle.net, this data is erased immediately.
- If the ‹Third Division› role is removed, access ends and data is deleted after 30 days — so that an accidental role removal does not erase your history. If you come back earlier, everything is kept.
- If you delete your data yourself, the cabinet disappears immediately; on an email request we delete it within 30 days.
- Group Finder groups with their sign-up lists — 30 days after the group time, then deleted.
- Closed Workshop orders and resolved tickets — 180 days after closing, then deleted; the Workshop reputation log — as long as you are in the cabinet.
- Answers to guild polls — 180 days, then deleted.
- Daily activity records — 180 days; the points awarded for them stay in the points history.
- Database backups are kept for up to 30 days, so within that time deleted data disappears from them too.
- In the change log, records about you are anonymised after deletion.
Security
The site and cabinet work only over a secure connection (HTTPS). We never see or store your Discord and Battle.net passwords. The access keys that Discord and Blizzard issue at sign-in are used once — to learn your account ID — and are not stored. The database holds only a hash of the session cookie, not the cookie itself. Sign-in is bound to the browser in which it started, and changes to the cabinet are accepted only from our own site. The bot’s access keys are kept only in our hosting’s encrypted secret storage. If an incident occurs that may affect your data, we will notify members on Discord.
Your rights
Under Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” (and, for players from the EU, the GDPR) you have the right to:
- know what data we hold about you, where it comes from, why, where it is stored and to whom it is passed;
- get a copy of your data, including in a machine-readable format;
- correct inaccurate data;
- request deletion of your data, object to processing or restrict it;
- withdraw consent at any time;
- know how automated processing works and not be subject to automated decisions with legal effects (the cabinet makes no such decisions);
- complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or to a court; players from the EU — also to the data protection authority of their country.
Most of this can be done in the cabinet itself, in the “My data” block. Everything else — by email to contact@wow-forever.com.ua or a message to the administration on Discord. We reply within 30 calendar days, usually much faster. So as not to disclose someone else’s data, we may ask you to confirm that the request is yours — for example, by writing from the same Discord account.
Age
The cabinet is for adults only (18+). If we learn that a minor is using it, we will delete their data.
